Photographer Showcase - T E N M I L E Pictures VANESSA PIKOP
Former SCOOP student photographer Vanessa Pikop has launched herself into her own ability
and the front line of subtle variety. Having traveled on the road together with Scoop on occasion,
the slow drift of learning her own strengths and desires behind the camera, has proven Vanessa
to be on her way as to the artist she is becoming. Her thrift in stopping and capturing things before
her search for natural light, is her new strong point, and the motivation to constantly delve into the subtle and
calmer prosperity of photography.
"I've always craved to be a photographer.
Having taken classes in High School expecting
to achieve something, I learned little on what
makes a photographer and just shot anything
that interested me. Finally, in 2012 I was given
a direction and and explanation. I have grown so
much in the last three and a half months.
I have no set subject, the motivation is behind that well known
statement from Scoop "Follow the Light". It brings me there every time.
A majority of my shots are focused on where the light is and the colors
that come from it. It has given me such enjoyment and escape from
the every day life." - Vanessa Pikop
Vanessa was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota and is currently
based out of Dalton, Minnesota where she lives with her husband
and her young daughter.
Her work will be showcased here at Scoopstills.com for the year.
ScoopPictures is proud to be a supporter of this artist's work.
Vanessa Pikop has just released ten more photographs for the month of November 2012!
Her switch into the realm of fall colors and the parallel of browns and earth tones have
once again broadened her approach to a more keen style of photographs. Less people
and the art of inanimate objects have been brought to life in her latest showcase. Her color
tones have taken an advanced flee into a different determination, and her skill has again
improved to another level of calm and patient shooting in regards to the outdoors and the
environment that indeed proves her livelihood and the taste of mid-western Americana.
December 2012 - Vanessa Pikop officially launches TEN MILE PICTURES. Her photography production
company based out of Dalton, Minnesota. Her keen insight and flare for the challenge
of a new frame is now becoming one of her prime interludes in the craft. Having recently worked
with Scoop this past November, her skills rush her once again as she brings to us new work
featuring three new subjects. Scoop also is featured as her main subject in November, having
photographed him for several promo pieces for the ScoopPICTURES Company, as well as
for her own showcase. Switching back and forth now between inanimate work and people,
is certification that her art and talent will stay the course for continuous great projects to come.
The newly released photographs are a series based on her 3 latest subjects.
For December 2012, we are proud to release her latest ten frames from TEN MILE PICTURES!
Vanessa is currently shooting new frames for another release before Christmas.
A new showcase featuring ten photographs has just been released in the gallery! Spreading the
gist of her pointed eye, these next photographs are a decent portrayal of a shooter and her difference
of inspiration during the winter.
