by Scoop, whom live in the glamorous and shady atmosphere of the 20's, 30's, 40's, 60's and 70's.
Featuring an international cast of subjects. This Gallery is currently in production, and photographs
will be released as production continues yearly.
Frames 3-19
1947 - John Prakapas as SPENCER DREVLOW, Crooner at Slap Maxie's in the Bronx.
Singer to the lower ground mishaps and pushers, Spencer lives and loves along the
burden's edge of women, debts and persuasion. Behind the sinister dark eyes of his
catching glow, he drifts beyond his inner folklore in hopes of becoming a playwrite.
Yet will his play take the stage along the glittered streets of Broadway, or will his debt
to KIPPER MAXWELL keep him from a new beginning, and perhaps... his very own life?
Frames 20-34
1947 - Kate Robards as SHELBY SHAW, night club singer on the Upper East Side.
Born with the gift of stimulating gab, Shelby drifts up and down the night scene
behind the words of her enchanting tunes, and beneath the steel glow of a spotlight
that flowers her presence night to night. Yet, it's the men she doesn't love, that are safe.
Taken to bed, wined and dined, as car doors open and high heels walk the cleaner
grounds, Shelby has played them all. Until she fell in love. She was his mistress. The dapper
quality of a man she longed to be taken with. He stole her from the others. She stole him
for herself. 7 months later he was found dead behind a pile of potato boxes in a
rain soaked alleyway behind a church in Brooklyn. Revenge plays a swift tune to a girl who
grew up in the streets. On the night of December 27th, 1947 - a murder took place. And Shelby
Shaw found herself singing a different tune.
Coming Soon, are the CROONER photographs of ERNEST HEMINGWAY.
Frames 37 and 38 -
Michael Kuka as Ernest Hemingway in the Hunting Days. Beneath his white
fishing cap and caped along the dim tree lines of the African landscapes, Ernest
hailed himself as a Great White Hunter. Time away from writing standing up at
typewriters and flowing pages, Hemingway's truer heart was within his accolades of
travel and adventure to places his home country could only dream of. Yet, only one
of his personalities was home to this primitive livelihood.
Frame 39 - Hemingway in the days of Finca Vigia in Cuba during his writing times. He wrote mainly
standing up. For 6 hours from morning to afternoon, to leave time for fishing.
Coming soon in January 2014 - The Crooner photographs of HUNTER S. THOMPSON
Frames 40-48 - Hunter S. Thompson revered as one of America's most prolific and
challenging writers and columnists. For his honest and stern witted material disguised
under the often dark and other times colorful retrospect into the troublesome livelihood
of Americana. Known for his outrageous and crazy lifestyle. Thompson's booze and drug
induced life created even more admiration when he channeled it through his words. Guns,
Strange and Dirty Patriotism and brilliance earned him the creation of his "GONZO" fans
and coined terms he was noted for. These photographs are portrayed by Daniel Dorsey,
as we take a sinister look into the author's impressionable and diluted inspiration from
his character when he wrote among the islands of Puerto Rico.
